The Tanzania Refugee and Migration Network promotes human rights and provides humanitarian assistance for refugees, asylum seekers and other migrants so that they can contribute to the country’s development.

What we do

We collaborate with national government, regional or international systems and agencies to fundamentally help conduct training, provide services, provide legal advocacy, provide funding to other organizations, research on refugees, asylum seekers and migrant issues; and also provide legal representation or carry out litigation on behalf of the afore-mentioned target groups.

TAREMINET Activities

TAREMINET Workshop with Government Officials on Refugee Durable Solutions with a proposed draft focusing on refugee policy change. Refugee policy draft was a capstone that thought to contribute to the existing refugee policy in the country.
In honor for efforts invested by the Tanzania government in hosting larger numbers of refugees for decades, TAREMINET is contributing to moderately endorse some changes on the overall concept of refugees in the country by exchanging ideas and discussing through coordinated visits.
